Basic Wicca 101

Lesson 1:  Introduction

            The introduction for this class will be done as a required chat.  I will then give you a list of supplies and materials that you may need for class.  You will also be given an idea of what the class is going to be about and what to expect from the class.

Lesson 2:  Wiccan Rede, 13 Principles Of Wicca and the Ethics of Wicca

            We will cover the Wiccan Rede in depth as well as the 13 Principles of Wicca and the Ethics of Wicca.

Lesson 3:  History

            We will cover the history of Wicca going as far back as the Burning Times in England and the Salem Witch Trials.  We will also cover some of the challenges that modern Wiccans face due to the history of Wicca.

Lesson 4:  Traditions of Wicca

            We will cover the many traditions of modern Wicca, and some of the traditions and practices of each tradition.

Lesson 5:  Elements

            We will cover the 5 elements of Wicca as well as their correspondences and meanings of each one.

Lesson 6:  Wheel Of The Year

            We will briefly cover the Wheel of the Year in this lesson.  To go more in depth on the Sabbats, I would recommend taking my Sabbats class if you aren’t already enrolled.

Required Chat:  Test over the first 6 lessons and all that has been covered.  Notes will be allowed for use.

Lesson 7:  Wicca Symbols

            This lesson will cover the most common symbols of Wicca as well as a few of the less common symbols.

Lesson 8:  Wicca Terms

            This will cover the terms used in Wicca that are not used in common language.

Lesson 9:  Tools

            This lesson will go over all tools used in Wicca as well as what they are used for.

Lesson 10:  Creating Your Sacred Space

            This lesson will cover how to set up your space, what should be in it, and how to make it your Sacred Space.

Lesson 11:  Grounding and Centering

            In this lesson you will learn how to ground and center, as well as shield.

Lesson 12:  Numerology

            This lesson will cover what numerology is and how to use it to choose your magickal name.

Required Chat:  Test over the previous six lessons and all that has been covered in them.  Notes will be allowed for use on this test.

Lesson 13:  Test

            Required chat for this test.  It will cover all that has been covered in the first 12 lessons.  There will be no notes allowed to be used on this test.

Lesson 14:  Meditation and Visualization

            This lesson will teach you about meditation and visualization.  Learn techniques for meditation and visualization.

Lesson 15:  Candles

            This lesson you will learn about candle colors and their meanings.

Lesson 16:  Gemstones

            This lesson you will learn about different gemstones and their various uses.

Lesson 17:  Herbs

            This lesson will cover some of the more common herbs and their uses.  For a more in depth covering of herbs, I would suggest that you take my herbs 101 class.

Lesson 18:  Types of Healing

            For this class we will cover many types of healing.  From candle healing to herbal healing.

Lesson 19:  Witch Crafts

            This class will cover a few projects you can do to make your own tools.

Required Chat:  This is a required chat that will be a test to cover the last 6 lessons.  Notes will be allowed for use on this test.

Lesson 20:  Review

            This lesson will be a review covering all that we have learned in this class.  I would suggest not taking during this review.

Lesson 21:  Final Exam

            Required chat:  This will be your final exam.  There will be NO NOTES and NO BOOKS allowed for this exam.
